What we are looking for
Adults 18+ who can hold a boundary and respect someone else’s. Couples and singles who want curated nights more than they want a crowd. People who understand that discretion is a courtesy to the room, not a branding exercise.
A verified profile is the beginning, not the prize. Free membership lets you step inside: browse events, link a partner in Silk Circle, use optional SilkSense introductions. Privé and Elite add rooms and responsibilities. None of the tiers are a workaround for the invitation.
What we decline, without drama
Anyone who treats the club as a hunting ground. Anyone who cannot follow the Acceptable Use Policy. Anyone who would make a host explain, at the door, why the list exists. Silk’s AUP is explicit about exploitation, trafficking, scams, and conduct that has no place in a private membership club. That is not mood. That is the floor.
We also decline the merely loud. A famous name who will turn the night into a shoot is not a better guest than a quiet couple who will leave the room as they found it. The host’s job is to protect the people who already trusted them.
Referrals are reputation, not a growth hack
When you invite someone, you are writing a sentence about yourself. Silk’s referral paths exist so the community can grow without becoming public. If you would not sit next to them at midnight, do not send the code.
Hosts on Elite carry a heavier pen. Micro-hosting inside the app — tickets, guest lists, QR at the door — is a privilege because it puts other members in a room with your taste. Read the membership page before you ask for that pen. Read About if you want the standard in one sitting.
