Child Safety and Minor Protection Policy — published standards against Child Sexual Abuse and Exploitation (CSAE) for Silk Lifestyle (Silk Lifestyle, LLC), including the Silk Lifestyle mobile application as listed on Google Play and the App Store, websites, messaging, events, and related services.
This page is Silk Lifestyle's publicly accessible Child Safety Standards resource for Google Play's Child Safety Standards policy and related platform requirements. It explicitly prohibits CSAE, describes how we address CSAM, explains in-app reporting, and designates a child safety point of contact.
1. Purpose and Scope
Silk Lifestyle, LLC ("Silk Lifestyle," "Silk," "we," "our," or "us") adopts this Child Safety and Minor Protection Policy to establish a zero-tolerance framework against child sexual abuse, child sexual exploitation (CSAE), grooming, trafficking, sextortion, sexualization of minors, and any related child endangerment conduct.
This policy applies across the Silk Lifestyle ecosystem, including the mobile application, website, user profiles, messaging channels, group features, voice and video functions, event and ticketing flows, moderation systems, support channels, and any affiliated or partner-operated Silk Lifestyle event experience.
This policy is designed for four simultaneous purposes:
- Protect minors from access to or misuse of the Silk Lifestyle platform;
- Define prohibited conduct and enforcement standards for users, moderators, hosts, partners, vendors, and staff;
- Support compliance with Google Play Child Safety Standards, user-generated content, and age-restricted content requirements; and
- Create an operational framework for detection, reporting, escalation, evidence preservation, and lawful cooperation with competent authorities (including NCMEC where applicable).
2. Adults-Only Rule
Silk Lifestyle is an adults-onlyplatform. No person under the age of eighteen (18), or such higher minimum age as may be required by applicable law in the user's jurisdiction, may create an account, access community features, communicate with other users, upload content, purchase tickets, attend Silk Lifestyle events, or otherwise use the service.
Any attempt to create, maintain, restore, verify, or use an account on behalf of a minor is strictly prohibited. Silk Lifestyle reserves the right to deny access, restrict functionality, require additional age proof, suspend or terminate accounts, refuse event entry, or take any other protective action where we reasonably suspect that a user is underage or is facilitating underage access.
3. Definitions
"Minor"
Any person under 18 years of age, or older where local law imposes a higher threshold for lawful access to the relevant feature or service.
"CSAE"
Child sexual abuse and exploitation, including grooming, trafficking, coercion, sexualized communications with minors, or conduct facilitating such harm.
"CSAM"
Child sexual abuse material and any image, video, live stream, synthetic depiction, altered media, or other content that depicts, appears to depict, or is used to facilitate sexual abuse or exploitation of a minor, as defined by applicable law.
"Grooming"
Building trust, manipulating, befriending, flattering, coercing, threatening, or otherwise engaging with a minor in a manner intended to enable sexual exploitation, trafficking, abuse, or coercive offline contact.
"Exploitative content"
Content that sexualizes, objectifies, endangers, or facilitates the abuse of a minor, whether real, implied, staged, simulated, synthetic, or manipulated.
4. Policy Statement
Silk Lifestyle maintains a strict zero-tolerance policy for any content, conduct, communication, transaction, arrangement, suggestion, fantasy framing, or facilitation involving the abuse, exploitation, endangerment, or sexualization of minors. This prohibition applies whether the conduct occurs on-platform, through off-platform coordination initiated through Silk Lifestyle, at a Silk Lifestyle event, through a partner-hosted event connected to Silk Lifestyle, or through any attempt to use Silk Lifestyle systems to identify, contact, lure, or exploit a minor.
No commercial, private, artistic, roleplay, community, consensual, or user-generated framing will excuse or narrow this policy. There is no permissive category for sexualized content involving minors. Any such activity is prohibited absolutely.
5. Prohibited Content and Conduct
The following conduct is prohibited without limitation:
- Creating, uploading, storing, transmitting, sharing, requesting, trading, advertising, promoting, or linking to CSAM or exploitative content;
- Using text, images, voice, video, groups, live functions, event chat, or profile fields to groom, lure, manipulate, threaten, pressure, or extort a minor;
- Attempting to obtain sexual images, sexual conversation, explicit recordings, private contact information, travel arrangements, hotel access, transportation, or in-person meetings involving a minor;
- Sexualized roleplay, "age play," fantasy framing, coded language, or euphemistic content that depicts or implies a minor in a sexual context;
- Using synthetic media, AI-generated content, face swaps, altered dates, edited IDs, or manipulated media to depict, imply, simulate, disguise, or facilitate sexual exploitation of a minor;
- Misrepresenting age, identity, relationship status, or guardian approval in order to gain access for a minor or conceal underage use;
- Inviting, admitting, transporting, escorting, or allowing minors into Silk Lifestyle events, private rooms, restricted spaces, after-parties, or affiliated venues;
- Using Silk Lifestyle for trafficking, commercial exploitation, coercion, blackmail, sextortion, debt pressure, immigration leverage, housing leverage, or any other exploitative dynamic involving a minor;
- Encouraging another person to engage in conduct prohibited by this policy, assisting such conduct, or failing to escalate a known child-safety threat where reporting is reasonably expected under one's role.
6. Age Assurance, Access Controls, and Eligibility
Silk Lifestyle may implement layered age-assurance controls, both before and after registration, in order to keep minors off the platform and away from age-restricted features. These controls may include age screens, date-of-birth collection, account verification workflows, ID verification, selfie or liveness checks, device and fraud signals, manual trust-and-safety review, payment verification, event-door identification checks, risk-based re-verification, and feature-specific access gates.
Each user represents and warrants that all submitted age and identity information is truthful, accurate, and current. Users must promptly correct inaccurate information and comply with any additional age-verification request. Refusal to cooperate with a lawful or platform-required age check may result in restricted access, suspension, cancellation of tickets, or permanent removal from the service.
Silk Lifestyle may apply stricter controls to messaging, matching, group participation, photo sharing, video access, ticket purchase, venue entry, or any other feature that presents elevated safety risk.
7. Reporting Channels and In-App Feedback
Silk Lifestyle maintains an in-app reporting path that allows users to submit child-safety concerns, feedback, and reports without leaving the app. Reporting options are available from relevant user profiles, messages/conversations, discovery surfaces, event pages, and settings/support menus where suspicious conduct may occur. Report categories include an Underage concern option and other safety reasons.
Reports should allow a user to identify the issue category and provide supporting details, including usernames, event names, dates, screenshots, message excerpts, profile URLs, and any other evidence reasonably available to the reporter.
If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first (for example, 911 in the United States), then report to Silk Lifestyle.
You may also email our child safety point of contact (Section 14) with the subject line "Child Safety / CSAE". Silk Lifestyle will not require a reporter to prove a violation before taking precautionary measures. Good-faith reporting is encouraged. Retaliation against a reporter, witness, moderator, or staff member who raises a child-safety concern is prohibited.
8. Internal Review and Escalation
Upon receiving a report, automated signal, moderator referral, host referral, venue referral, law-enforcement communication, or other notice of potential child-safety risk, Silk Lifestyle may triage the matter based on severity, immediacy, evidence quality, recurrence, and user-risk indicators. High-risk matters may be escalated immediately for protective action even before the review is complete.
Our response may include:
- Temporary account lock or permanent termination;
- Suspension of messaging and content removal;
- Event-entry hold, ticket freeze, or host/partner alert;
- Identity re-verification and device or payment blocking;
- Evidence preservation and legal escalation; and
- Referral to competent authorities or mandated reporting channels where appropriate.
Silk Lifestyle may use a combination of proactive and reactive moderation methods, including user reports, trust-and-safety review, manual moderation, pattern analysis, event check-in review, fraud controls, and automated detection or triage tools. We do not guarantee that all misconduct will be detected before harm occurs, but we reserve broad discretion to act quickly to reduce risk.
9. CSAM Handling, Evidence Preservation, and Authority Reporting
Any suspected CSAM or closely related exploitative material shall be handled as a priority safety issue. Upon obtaining actual knowledge of CSAM, Silk Lifestyle will take appropriate action in accordance with this policy and applicable law, including but not limited to:
- Removing or disabling access to the material;
- Locking or terminating the associated account(s);
- Preserving relevant records and metadata as required for lawful investigation and reporting;
- Restricting account recovery where appropriate; and
- Reporting confirmed CSAM to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) CyberTipline (report.cybertip.org) and/or the relevant regional child-protection or law-enforcement authority, as required or appropriate under applicable law.
Users must not download, redistribute, retain, repost, or privately circulate suspected CSAM through Silk Lifestyle systems. Users should report it immediately using the designated reporting channels. Internal handling of such material is limited to the minimum access necessary for lawful safety review, evidence preservation, and reporting.
10. Event-Specific Child Safety Controls
All Silk Lifestyle events are adults-only unless an event is expressly designated otherwise in writing by Silk Lifestyle, which designation is not expected for the platform's core lifestyle-event operations. Event hosts, door staff, moderators, partners, collaborators, vendors, performers, and attendees must not invite, admit, escort, transport, conceal, or facilitate the presence of minors at a Silk Lifestyle event or any adjacent private area controlled by Silk Lifestyle or its partners.
Silk Lifestyle may require government-issued identification at check-in, conduct guest-list verification, deny entry for age uncertainty, eject attendees, cancel tickets, revoke future access, or coordinate with venue security or law enforcement where child-safety concerns arise. Staff and partners are expected to escalate any age-related concern immediately rather than attempting to resolve it informally.
11. Partner, Host, Staff, and Moderator Responsibilities
Any partner account, host, venue collaborator, moderator, contractor, or staff member acting on behalf of Silk Lifestyle must comply with this policy. Silk Lifestyle may require contractual representations, event-operating procedures, moderation rules, reporting obligations, escalation contacts, and cooperation requirements as a condition of platform access or event partnership.
At a minimum, authorized personnel must:
- Report suspected underage users or exploitative conduct promptly;
- Avoid informal side arrangements that bypass verification or guest controls;
- Preserve evidence where instructed;
- Maintain confidentiality during investigations; and
- Follow management or legal directives concerning suspension, removal, reporting, and law-enforcement coordination.
12. Enforcement Measures
Violations of this policy may result in any action Silk Lifestyle deems appropriate, including warning, shadow restriction, feature disablement, content removal, profile takedown, event ban, payment or refund hold, identity re-verification, temporary suspension, permanent account termination, device fingerprint blocking, venue trespass instruction, and referral to civil or criminal authorities.
Silk Lifestyle may enforce this policy based on a preponderance-of-risk assessment rather than waiting for a criminal conviction or external finding. Protection of minors and prevention of platform misuse take priority over continued access to the service.
13. Appeals and Reconsideration
Where operationally appropriate and consistent with child-safety obligations, Silk Lifestyle may allow a suspended or terminated user to submit an appeal. Silk Lifestyle is not required to disclose internal detection methods, reporting sources, moderator notes, investigative logic, or law-enforcement communications in order to process or deny an appeal.
No appeal will be granted where restoration would create material child-safety risk, conflict with law-enforcement direction, undermine evidence preservation, or expose other users to likely harm.
14. Child Safety Point of Contact
Silk Lifestyle designates the following point of contact to receive potential notifications from Google Play, users, venue partners, legal authorities, and internal moderators concerning child-safety issues or suspected CSAE/CSAM. This representative is positioned to speak to our enforcement and review procedures and to take action if required.

15. Legal Compliance and Cooperation
Silk Lifestyle complies with applicable child-protection, privacy, platform-safety, evidence-preservation, and reporting obligations in the jurisdictions in which it operates or makes services available — including, where applicable, processes to report confirmed CSAM to NCMEC or the relevant regional authority. Where local law imposes stricter requirements than this policy, Silk Lifestyle may apply the stricter standard.
Silk Lifestyle may preserve, disclose, or transfer records where permitted or required for lawful reporting, emergency response, fraud prevention, platform integrity, user safety, regulatory compliance, or cooperation with valid legal process. Nothing in this policy creates a promise of advance notice to a subject account where notice would create risk, violate law, or frustrate an investigation.
16. Policy Review
Silk Lifestyle may review this policy periodically and update related trust-and-safety workflows, terms, community standards, event rules, reporting forms, moderation playbooks, and staff instructions as the product, law, and platform requirements evolve. Material updates will be reflected by the "Last updated" date on this page.
