This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs use of the Silk Lifestyle mobile applications, websites (including silklifestyle.app and silklifestyle.com), membership features, messaging, events, ticketing, and related services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Silk Lifestyle, LLC ("Silk," "we," "us," or "our").
Silk is a private, invitation-only membership club and curated events community for adults. This AUP sets safety and legality rules for that community. It is incorporated into and forms part of the Terms & Conditions. Violation of this AUP is a material breach of the Terms.
Silk does not operate as an adult-content marketplace, escort service, or pornography service. Users may not use the Services to sell, solicit, or broker prostitution, escorting, or other illegal commercial sex.
1. Eligibility and Age
- You must be at least eighteen (18) years of age (or the higher age of majority in your jurisdiction, if applicable) to create an account or use the Services.
- Certain events may be restricted to twenty-one (21) years of age or older and will be marked accordingly. You must meet any higher event age requirement to attend.
- Minors are prohibited. You may not create, maintain, or use an account on behalf of a minor, or help a minor access the Services or any Silk event.
- Child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE) and child sexual abuse material (CSAM) are absolutely prohibited. See our Child Safety Standards.
2. Accounts and Identity
- Provide accurate age and account information. Do not impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation, identity, or eligibility for a ticket category.
- Do not share login credentials to evade bans, share paid access in violation of the Terms, or create accounts to circumvent enforcement.
- Comply with identity or age-assurance requests Silk reasonably requires for safety or legal compliance.
3. Member Conduct and Boundaries
Members are expected to treat others with respect, honor stated boundaries, and refrain from harassment, coercion, or intimidation — in the app, in messages, and at events. "No" means no. Silk may remove members who undermine the safety or standards of the private club.
4. Prohibited Content and Uses
Without limitation, you may not upload, share, request, promote, or use the Services in connection with any of the following:
4.1 Trafficking, exploitation, and abuse
- Human trafficking, sex trafficking, or sexual exploitation of any person;
- Aiding, abetting, encouraging, soliciting, advertising, or otherwise facilitating trafficking, exploitation, or abuse;
- Debt bondage, coercion, blackmail, sextortion, or similar exploitative dynamics;
- Child sexual abuse or exploitation, grooming, CSAM, or any sexualization of minors (see Child Safety Standards).
4.2 Non-consensual and violent sexual harm
- Non-consensual intimate imagery, image-based sexual abuse, or distribution of intimate images of a real person without consent;
- Content or conduct that facilitates sexual violence, or deepfake / synthetic intimate imagery of a real person without consent;
- Threats of sexual violence or other serious bodily harm.
4.3 Illegal commercial sex and prohibited adult services
- Advertising, arranging, soliciting, or brokering prostitution, escorting, or other illegal commercial sex;
- Using the Services as a marketplace for pornography, paid adult live sexual chat, or other prohibited adult services.
4.4 Fraud, scams, and financial abuse
- Phishing, romance or financial fraud, advance-fee schemes, investment scams, payment redirection, identity theft, or other schemes intended to defraud users or Silk;
- Manipulating ticket categories, pricing, referrals, or promotions to obtain unauthorized discounts or benefits.
4.5 Harassment, privacy invasion, and platform abuse
- Stalking, doxxing, credible threats, or severe harassment;
- Unauthorized scraping, malware, reverse engineering to evade safety controls, or interference with the Services;
- Any other unlawful content or activity under applicable law.
5. Events and Venue Conduct
- Admission to Silk events is a privilege. Comply with door policies, identification checks, guest-list rules, and staff instructions.
- Do not bring weapons, engage in illegal activity, or endanger others at events.
- Respect privacy expectations appropriate to a private social event, including any photography or recording rules announced by Silk or the venue.
- Silk and venue partners may deny entry, eject attendees, cancel tickets, or revoke future access for safety or standards violations, consistent with the Terms and Refund Policy (no refunds).
6. Reporting and Safety
- Report or block members through in-app reporting tools where available.
- For urgent safety concerns, email support@silklifestyle.com with subject line Safety Report.
- For child-safety / CSAE concerns, use the channels in our Child Safety Standards (subject: Child Safety / CSAE).
- If someone is in immediate danger, contact local emergency services first (for example, 911 in the United States), then notify Silk.
7. Enforcement
Silk may investigate suspected violations and take any action it deems appropriate, including content removal, feature restriction, warning, suspension, permanent termination, ticket cancellation, event ban, device or payment blocking, and referral to civil or criminal authorities. Enforcement may be based on a risk assessment and need not await a criminal conviction.
Termination, ticket cancellation, or loss of access for AUP or Terms violations does not entitle you to a refund. See the Refund Policy.
8. Appeals
Where operationally appropriate and consistent with safety obligations, Silk may allow a suspended or terminated user to submit an appeal to support@silklifestyle.com. Silk is not obligated to restore access where doing so would create material safety risk, conflict with law-enforcement direction, or undermine an investigation. Silk need not disclose internal detection methods or reporter identities.
9. Cooperation with Law Enforcement
Silk may preserve and disclose information as described in our Privacy Policy and Law Enforcement Protocols, including in response to valid legal process and for emergencies involving imminent risk of death or serious bodily harm.
10. Changes
We may update this AUP from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised AUP where permitted by law.
