Hosting a private night as an Elite member

Anyone can fill a room. Very few people can empty it of the wrong energy before the first glass is poured.

Hosting is not decorating a rental and hoping the right people arrive. It is authorship. You decide the capacity, the list, the hour the address appears, and the feeling people still have in the car on the way home.

Elite on Silk exists for members who want to own that authorship: ticketed nights inside the app, an Elite badge, concierge-level support, and everything already in Privé. The published rate is on the pricing page. The craft is here.

Write the list before you write the invite

A good night is cast, not marketed. Start with the people who will make the room true — the couple who listen, the single who does not perform, the friend who will help the door stay kind. Then decide whether the night is a social, a smaller house, or something that should never be named on the open web.

Silk’s public event teasers show only what a stranger is allowed to know. You can keep a street address for confirmed guests. You can sell tickets with honest categories. You can close RSVPs when the room is full. The tools are there so you do not have to run a night out of a group chat.

The door is the night

QR check-in is hospitality. It lets you greet people instead of arguing with a screenshot. Brief whoever is on the door. A list that collapses at 11:30 was not a list. Elite hosting includes the door tools because that is where reputation is won or spent.

If someone is not on the list, the answer is no — warm, short, final. Do not make the members inside listen to a negotiation. Do not make a plus-one the tax they pay for arriving on time.

Hold the room, then close it

During the night your job is tempo and care: introductions that can be declined, a pace that does not bully anyone into staying, a clear line on photography. After the night your job is silence. Thank people. Do not recap faces. If you want to host again, the membership and events pages are how guests find the next chapter — not a public album.

Silk will help you sell the ticket and scan the pass. It will not invent the standard for you. That part is why Elite is not simply a more expensive Free. It is a request that you treat other people’s evenings as something expensive.
